Sadharanikaran Model of Communication This model is derived from Hindu Poetics. the model is mainly cconnectd to aesthetics, poetics and drama. The base is rooted in Natyashastra. According to Vatsyayan 1996,p.146, Bhattanayaka introduced the concept of Sadharanikaran. The model's name is derived from the sanskrit word "Sadharan". The translations are presented in Vedantatirtha 1936,p.35 as Generalized presentation, in Yadava, 1998, p. 187 as Simplification and Dissanayake, 2006, p.4 as Universalization. This model is associated to the cocnept of "Sahridayata". Sahridayata is the feeling of oneness/commonness. Hence, Sadharanikaran is the attainment of Sahridayata between two communicating parties. The latin word "Comunis" and "communication" mean close to Sadharanikaran (Adhikary 2003, pp. 82-83).
